Feeding Guidelines
During the first month of pregnancy, do not modify the usual amount of food given out: Give 1/3 ounce for each pound (20 grams per kilo) of the dog body weight once a day.
As of the second month and for the rest of the pregnancy, keep the food available at will night and day.
Depending on the number of puppies in fact, the pregnant female can eat up to three times the food she normally consumes, which needs to be taken throughout the whole day for a proper digestion.
Make sure to keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times.
